Corie Costa

I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1969 and never really left.  I don't have a fancy story to tell and I've only considered myself an artist since covid.  I bring animal skulls to life with ethereal embellishments such as turquoise and other semiprecious stones, feathers, locally harvested flora & fauna, unusual artful adornments, other stuff of the Earth and glass marble eyeballs.  Each creation is unique and has its own personality and attitude.

All skulls and bones are ethically sourced and never EVER taken from nature before their time.

Each skull is honored and given thanks while I work on it and serves as a reminder to appreciate the gift of life.
